STEM Saturday - Moon Tree Day

Help us celebrate our Moon Tree and pick up supplies to participate in International Observe the Moon Night.

This fall marks the third anniversary of the Artemis I mission. During a 25-day journey that began on November 16th, 2022, the Orion spacecraft took 1,000 seeds, including the one that would grow into our Moon Tree, for a flight around the moon. Visit the library today and see how much our moon tree has grown.

Then stop by the community room to pick up a moon observation journal, discover what you will be able to see in the night sky this evening, learn more about our moon tree, explore the phases of the moon, and make a straw rocket.

Recommended for kids ages 5+.
