WriteRI: Short Story Workshop In-Person
Saturday, November 17th 11:30am-1pm in the Learning Center Celebrate Writing in November! You may not be interested in NaNoWriMo, but how about a short story? A writing coach from WriteRI will be here to work with students on their own writing pieces. School One and Goat Hill are pleased to announce the 2018 Write Rhode Island Competition with the aim to engage students in grades 7-12 in creative writing. Eligible entries should be a short work of fiction incorporating Rhode Island as a theme. The coach will be here on 11/17 to work with students on pieces they may wish to submit for the contest. Bring your work with you or bring questions about an idea that you have to run by the coach! **This program requires registration.
