Creating a Pollinator Friendly Garden with Native Plants In-Person
This presentation will discuss the rationale and value of “ecological” gardening.
Attendees will learn:
- practices for creating a healthy, diverse ecosystem in their backyards
- the importance of providing habitat and food sources for pollinators
- some practical garden design principles
Twenty examples of native plants will be reviewed that can beautify your property as well as reestablish a healthy environmental balance in your garden. Presented by URI Master Gardener Richard Dalidowitz.
