Tails & Tales Community Storytelling Series: Wendy Taylor from West Place Animal Sanctuary In-Person
Wendy Taylor began West Place Animal Sanctuary in memory of her beloved animals who perished in a house fire. In this program, she will recount that traumatic experience and how she gained the strength and focus to leave her 20-year law practice and dedicate her life to improving the lives of animals who have been victims of cruelty, abuse, or neglect. This program will also include a virtual tour of the sanctuary.
West Place Animal Sanctuary, located on 8 acres of historic farmland in Tiverton, RI, is the East Bay’s largest and most diverse home to abused and neglected animals. Since its founding in 2007, West Place has provided refuge and rehabilitation to over 1,000 wildlife and farm animals who have been victims of cruelty, abuse, or neglect.
